San Vito Lo Capo is a beautiful little beach town in Sicily, and it was my second last stop before heading to Palermo. I had a little bit of extra funds saved up, so I was looking for one of the best hotels in San Vito Lo Capo. When to visit San Vito Loco Capo Sicily
Just a quick note on when to visit. The best time to enjoy the hotels in San Vito Lo Capo is probably around the summer months and also the shoulder months. June to August is going to be the busiest. However, it is quite a small town and not many people know it, so you will get the peak of the sun. San Vito Lo Capo really is a beach town.
In September it starts to get a little bit cheaper and they have the annual couscous festival. Now some people know about this and it is one of the best things to do in San Vito Lo Capo. So I would be wary around September and book your hotel earlier.
How we select the best hotels in San Vito Lo Capo
When it comes to selecting the best hotels in San Vito Lo Capo, I took recommendations from family because they live all over Italy, especially the south. And I did a lot of research. I think due to it being a small town the options were a little bit more limited. Location is going to be quite important.
So I looked for San Vito Lo Capo beach hotels, all very close to the town centre. I favoured those that had really good reviews, where the rooms were spacious and they had good service. Or if they were a little bit outside of town, if they had pools or a spa.
I also liked properties that were a little bit more traditional but might have been modernised a little bit. Also amenities such as a rooftop terrace. We stayed in a hotel in San Vito Lo Capo which had a lovely terrace looking out to the whole of the beach. So hopefully you will find a San Vito Lo Capo hotel in this guide.
Luxury hotels in San Vito lo Capo
As I said, I had a little bit more money saved over so I did not mind splurging. There were not that many luxury hotels in San Vito Lo Capo. Like I said it is a less known destination so it was hard to find. But if you are looking for this, I was looking for nice bedding, maybe marble bathrooms, maybe a little bit more technology. So here are my recommendations.
Hotel Capo San Vito
I will start off with Hotel Capo San Vito and this is a really stunning 4 star hotel in San Vito Lo Capo on the beach. You can see that in the picture, which is from a balcony looking at that beautiful blue ocean and sand.
Here you will be able to reserve beach spots with an umbrella, some sunbeds and beach towels, but you do have to contact reception and they do charge a slight fee. They have some of the best views of the ocean.
On top of that they also have amenities like a wellness area so you can go to the spa every day from about 3pm to 9pm last I checked. You can get a spot, get a massage or go into their Turkish bath and the prices are really reasonable for these extras.
In terms of the rooms, I would probably recommend getting at least the deluxe sea view because you will get a really comfortable room with a balcony looking at the ocean. Waking up to that every day with an espresso is just really nice. This is one of the best hotels in San Vito Lo Capo on the beach.

The Panoramic Hotel
Next up and it is a little bit set back. You have the Panoramic Hotel. Again it is another 4 star luxury hotel in San Vito Lo Capo. It also has a private beach area with lounges and towels and it is just a few minutes walk away from the beach, literally about 3 minutes.
It is a little bit on the west of the beach and the town so it is a bit quieter, which is what I like about this hotel.
They have quite a few amenities like a really nice terrace where you can relax. If you do not feel like going into town they do have a restaurant with a really nice panoramic view. And if you bring the car they do have free parking, however you do have to check because it is quite a small hotel.
With this one, again, you go to San Vito Lo Capo for the beach, so I would pick a room that has a sea view. The furnishings are traditional, but they feel very modern, and the place is very clean.

Hotel Sundeck
Next up for the best luxury hotels in San Vito Lo Capo is the Hotel Sundeck. This hotel is really known for its wellness centre. They have a Turkish bath, a hydro massage, and an infrared sauna.
On top of that, they have massage treatments, anti-ageing treatments, mani pedis. So it really is a great hotel to stay at if you want to get some treatments done and just really relax.
On top of that really nice views. Upstairs they have a spa, a jacuzzi and some beds and you can see a 360 view of the whole of San Vito Lo Capo. Really, really nice place to stay.
In terms of the rooms, they are pretty modern. They have TVs, and some of them have a desk if you are working from there. Also very clean and airy. I would probably recommend the higher rooms as most of them come with a balcony, so you can sit outside and look at the ocean.

Boutique hotels in San Vito lo Capo
Now I am going to talk about some of the boutique hotels in San Vito Lo Capo. These are often just a little bit different. You usually find better service at these hotels in San Vito Lo Capo. They might be a smaller hotel as well, and most of the time they are also family-run, which is quite nice. So here are a few of the best San Vito Lo Capo hotels that are boutique.
Hermes Hotel
You have got the Hermes Hotel and this is actually brand new. It is a really modern hotel that is family-run by some cousins. You can see in the picture how modern it is. It is really nice and warm inside, and it only has 11 rooms, so you are probably going to have to book early for this one.
This one is just 2 streets away from the ocean and very close to all the restaurants in San Vito Lo Capo. So very well located.
In terms of the rooms, very well renovated and very modern. It is just nice, like the staff are really welcoming as soon as you enter the hotel. On top of that, they also have a nice terrace where you can sit down, read a book and relax. They also serve a really nice breakfast on the terrace.

Hotel Mediterraneo Faro
Following on from that you have got the Hotel Mediterranean Faro. Again this is another new hotel in San Vito Lo Capo and this hotel has an Arabic inspired design. You can kind of feel that and see it in the picture.
It is located just right next to the beach so you can quickly get back after you have had a swim.
In terms of the rooms they are all very nice and they all have that kind of Arabic design to them. I cannot really recommend a specific one, I would just say pick one, maybe with a terrace.
In terms of the prices they are inexpensive as well depending on the season. If you want luxury get the suite because it comes with a pool and you have ocean views.

Biancolilla Hotel
Now, if you want to be a little bit more in town and want a really nice boutique hotel in San Vito Lo Capo, you have got the Biancolilla Hotel.
This has just 8 bedrooms and is about 100 metres away from the actual beach. Again, it is another recently built hotel and I think this is because it is starting to get known, so there are these hotels popping up in San Vito Lo Capo.
The rooms are super large and you can see that in the picture. Very white and very cooling. They have air conditioning, a safe and a TV as well. On top of that they do have a rooftop terrace, which is really nice to sit on. And also a restaurant.

Hotels in San Vito lo Capo for families
Now I am going to talk a little bit about the hotels in San Vito Lo Capo that might be good for families. Sometimes you forget about things like babysitting or cribs. If they are further away from the beach maybe you want a pool. Or if you do not want to go out, they have restaurants. So here are my recommendations for San Vito Lo Capo hotels for families.
Hotel Mira Spiaggia
One of the best hotels in San Vito Lo Capo for families would be the Hotel Mira Spiaggia and this is a beachfront hotel. If you look at the picture you can see the ocean right there.
They also have a private beach area with sunbeds, and last time I checked, it was about €20 for a beach umbrella, which might have changed.
But apart from being a San Vito Lo Capo beach hotel, if you want to relax, they also have a wellness centre with a sauna, a heated jacuzzi with hydro massage and then a really nice terrace with a view of the whole of San Vito Lo Capo beach.
Find out more information and check the prices for Hotel Mira Spiaggia.

Hotel Trinacria
If you want to be a little bit closer to town, there is also the Hotel Trinacria, and that is very close to some of the things to do in San Vito Lo Capo, such as the Santuario di San Vito.
What is good for families is there are lots and lots of rooms, doubles, triples, quadruples, so you can be close to your family or stay in a bigger room.
They also have a lot of amenities which I like, such as the beach service. You do not have to worry about trying to find a seat, you can book that with them.
They have parking, so if you bring a car, which is what most people do and what I did, you can have secure parking. And then if you want to relax, they also have a jacuzzi.
In terms of getting to the beach it is only a 4 minute walk away. And last time I checked the sunbeds were actually free of charge, which is something you do not really find at the hotels in San Vito Lo Capo.

Hotel Iride
Next up to the east of San Vito Lo Capo is the Hotel Iride. The reason I picked this one is that it is a little bit further away from everything else, so it is a lot quieter, especially at night. So if your kids sleep early it is a great place to be.
In terms of the rooms, very, very modern and comfortable. They have cribs that you can ask for, so if you are bringing young family. And then if you want to get out, it is on the east but it is very close to the beach, literally about a 2 minute walk.
On top of that they have laundry services. So if you are going around Sicily like I did this is very important so you can clean before you go onto your next place.
And then if you have some older family members, you can also rent bicycles so you can go around San Vito Lo Capo. This is probably one of the best hotels in San Vito Lo Capo for families.

Cheap hotels in San Vito lo Capo
Now I am going to get onto some of the cheap hotels in San Vito Lo Capo. Some of my friends actually spent a little bit less so they could spend more in other places. And something to note, last time I checked, they actually do not have 5-star hotels in San Vito Lo Capo. So you might want to save that for another town like Taormina, for instance, and go for a cheaper hotel in San Vito Lo Capo.
When I was looking at these I was looking for the essentials, a nice place to stay, something quiet, Wi-Fi, a bathroom and sometimes free breakfast. So here are my recommendations for hotels in San Vito Lo Capo that are good value.
Hotel Riva Del Sole
You have got Hotel Riva del Sole, and this is a 3-star hotel just one minute away from the beach. In most rooms, you will be able to actually see the beach itself.
They also have their own beach area with sun loungers. The rooms are very traditional, in a traditional Sicilian style. I really like that. They have lots and lots to choose from, and the prices are very reasonable, under €100 a night, and it is a very clean place to stay.
I would probably recommend the double room with a balcony because you will be right by the beach but you will also be able to see some of the other things to do in San Vito Lo Capo.
I would probably be a little bit cautious about booking too late. They only have 13 rooms, and because it is such a great value, this one will get snapped up very quickly.
Find out more information and check the prices for Hotel Riva Del Sole.

Hotel Sicilya
Then you have Hotel Sicilya. Again, this is another traditional Sicilian hotel, this one is more in the centre of town so probably about 100 metres away from the beach. But very nice if you just want to be in that Sicilian atmosphere. You can kind of see this in the photo. It is so charming, it has got the blues and the yellows, that really nice colourful Sicilian atmosphere inside.
They also have their own private beach area with beach towels, a restaurant if you do not want to pop into town, and they also have parking. You can either park near the hotel yourself or they have their own secure parking, and last time I checked, that was €15 per day, so inexpensive.

Hotel Perla Gaia
If you are looking for something a little bit more modern but still a cheap hotel in San Vito Lo Capo there is Hotel Perla Gaia. The rooms at this hotel are very modern.
You have got the LED lights, everything is very simplistic, so it is very nice to stay, and you will have a good night's sleep. If you are coming with friends or a family, they also have quadruple rooms where you can fit up to 4 people so it's also good for families.
Not many amenities, but they do have bicycles that you can use free of charge, which is a plus.
Find out more information and check the prices for Hotel Perla Gaia.

Hotel Al-Taïr
And then just going a little bit more traditional is the Hotel Al-Taïr. This one is a little bit further back than some of the other hotels in San Vito Lo Capo. It is very close to the chapel of St Crescentia or the Mother Church and it is a little bit quieter here, which is nice.
But the rooms are really unique. I really like them. You have got that deep blue, the rooms are very modern but very simplistic and that is all you need.
They also have access to a private beach with sun loungers. For breakfast, they do have a complimentary breakfast, which will save you money.
And then they have other services, such as an airport shuttle service, which is convenient to get to San Vito Lo Capo if you are not renting a car.
